  15. The ACER 1000 and 3000 BIOS does not support function 0d804h, interrupt 
  16. 15h call (standard INT15h call) that is required in the configuration of 
  17. the American Megatrends SCSI Host Adapter. The error message resulting 
  18. from this incompatible is "No SCSI Controller present"

  21. The custom release version 1.09E for the American Megatrends Series 15 
  22. Host Adapter will work with either the ACER 1000 or the ACER 3000 machine. 
  23. ACER has since modified their BIOS for the ACER 1000, in which case the 
  24. normal Host BIOS of 1.09 will suffice.

  27. Similar changes for the American Megatrends Series 44 Host Adapter did not 
  28. correct the incompatible problem that previously existed with the Series 
  29. 15.
